Montana) The FDA recently issued an order banning SMOK brand e-cigarettes from the United States.
SMOK brand products are not sold as a completed product with an e-liquid in the the device. Therefore, the FDA says in it’s report, these products have the potential to be used with any e-liquid available on the market including tobacco-flavored and non tobacco-flavored liquids.
The FDA says that the company that manufactures these products failed to provide sufficient evidence to demonstrate that marketing of the products would be appropriate for the protection of the public health. Further, they report that this brand of product accounts for over 11% of all youth vape users.
