HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Havre’s annual Festival Days kicks off Friday and runs through Sunday. Havre’s Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Julea Robbins says they have many events throughout the weekend that should offer something for everyone.
The Friends of the Library will be hosting a book sale in the Library Meeting Room throughout the weekend and the Quilt Guild will have their show at the Holiday Village Mall. The Steve Heil Memorial Car Show will be held Friday evening near Independence Bank and the 48-hour softball tournament will start at the 6th Avenue Softball Field. MSU-Northern will be hosting a rodeo and a street dance will be held that night at Old Station Brewery.
Saturday kicks off with the Kiwanis Pancake breakfast at the Eagle’s Club and the final Saturday Market of the season will be held at the Town Square. The parade will start at 10, after the CASA 5th Avenue Mile Fun Run. Custom Collision Repair will have their Car Giveaway, barbeque and Burnout Saturday afternoon and Rock Lotto will start in the Town Square at 3 PM. Northern’s Rodeo will continue Saturday night and the Havre Trap Club will host a Moonlight Night Shoot.
Sunday will wrap up the weekend-long events, like the 48-hour Softball Tournament, Quilt show, library book sale and the vendors show. The Festival Days Run/Walk is one of the last events, starting at 1 PM at the RC Model Flying Club.
