(Great Falls) Severe weather is expected in our area over the next few days. New Media Broadcasters spoke with Ray Greely a Meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Great Falls, and he provides more details.
“We have issued a flash flood watch for much of Central and North Central Montana and that runs from Thursday afternoon through early Saturday. Flooding threat begins in the form of showers and thunderstorms. Some can have excessively heavy rain, possibly in excess of one to two inches per hour rain rate and then after that calms down we’ll get a period of general rains that will continue Thursday nights into Friday. – Greely
