Havre, MT – Blue Pony boys basketball dropped their season opener to East Helena last week but are looking to bounce back and regain focus with a pair of games this weekend at the Billings Metra.
Head coach of Havre High boys’ basketball, WaLynn Burgess knows there are a couple specific things his team needs to focus on this week in preparation for Lockwood and Laurel.
“Our main focus is going to be on our defense making sure we make some adjustments. Another main focus that kind of hurt us this weekend is our rebounds. We just got to make sure that we’re making a big-time effort that we’re boxing out and going for the rebounds every time.”
Blue Pony boys’ basketball will tip off on Friday against Lockwood at 7:30pm.m and on Saturday against Laurel at 1:30p.m.
