CHINOOK, Mont. (NMB) – Former Blaine County Sheriff Glenn Huestis is hoping to become Chinook’s next Mayor.
Huestis says his experience as Sheriff makes him a good fit for the role.
“As Sheriff of Blaine County for 25 years, working with County budgets with Commissioners every year, enjoyed the work. I retired about three years ago and I miss working with the public. So I thought I’d try and get back into it.”
If elected, Huestis says there would be several top priorities.
“The public works, the infrastructure, streets and water, sewer. Those are the main things that I have concerns on that I think they’ve somewhat neglected to look at.”
The municipal election is scheduled to conclude on November 2nd.
