(Fort Benton) – A Fort Benton lottery player has a lot to celebrate after striking it rich on a recent ticket.
The Montana Lottery announced that a lucky local resident claimed a high-tier prize of eleven-thousand four-hundred ninety-three dollars on September twenty-ninth. The winning ticket was a Big Sky Bonus scratcher, purchased at the Fort Benton Mountain View Co-Op.
Since late September, the state lottery has handed out over one-hundred nine thousand dollars in major prizes. A portion of all Montana Lottery proceeds goes directly toward supporting state STEM scholarships and the general fund.
