(Fort Benton) – The Montana Department of Commerce recently awarded the city of Fort Benton $32,000 through it’s Community Development Block Grant Planning Program. Fort Benton Mayor, Roger Axtman explains how the city will utilize these grant funds.
“We just instituted a new industrial park here in Fort Benton and just brought it on officially in October. We dedicated the sight and some of the zoning that has been in that area, it needs to be updated as to certain regulations, the usage of their property in that particular area.”
Axtman also said they hope to review that industrial park but some other areas in the community that are a little antiquated in some of their usage design.
