Fort Peck’s Trout Pond has Vehicle Access Restrictions

(FORT PECK)– Montana Fish, Wildlife, and Parks reports that he Fort Peck Dredge Cuts Fishing Access Site, known locally as the Trout Pond, currently has vehicle access restrictions due to unsafe road conditions.
Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks staff closed the access trail that crosses the dike south of the boat ramp, as the road has experienced significant sloughing on the south side of the dike.
The trail is closed to motorized vehicles but remains open to walk-in access. The closure is in effect now and is expected to be lifted in a few weeks pending repair work.
