HELENA, Mont. (NMB) – Montanans interested in creating or expanding their agricultural businesses are invited to apply for funds through the Growth Through Agriculture (GTA) grant program.
The program awards grants up to $50,000 and loans up to $100,000.
The application deadline is December 7th at 2 PM.
The GTA program was established by the legislature to strengthen and diversify Montana’s agriculture industry by developing new agricultural products and processes.
Numerous Hi-Line businesses and entities were awarded funding through this program earlier this year.
They include Crawford Distillieries, Big Sandy Organics and the Milk River Joint Board of Control.
