
HELENA, Mont. (NMB) – Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks has announced the closure of two hunting seasons in north-central Montana after quotas were met.
The male mountain lion hunting season for hunting districts 411 and 412, which includes portions of Fergus, Golden Valley and Judith Basin Counties, closed after sunset on January 10th.
The swift fox trapping season for trapping district 6, which includes portions of Blaine, Hill, Valley and Phillips Counties, closed on the evening of January 9th.
