GLACIER NATIONAL PARK, Mont. (NMB) – Glacier National Park began selling tickets on April 29th for their new reserved entry system for Going-to-the-Sun Road.
Park Officials told the Flathead Beacon that June reservations sold out within minutes after they were made available. However, more tickets go online at 8 AM every morning as the Park has rolling 60-day windows in place for reservations.
Reservations for Going-to-the-Sun Road are required from Memorial Day through Labor Day. The road is not expected to open all the way until at least mid-June as crews continue clearing the area around Logan Pass.
When available, the $2 tickets can be purchased at recreation.gov.
