
HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Governor Steve Bullock announced Thursday, April 16 the establishment of the Coronavirus Relief Fund Task Force.
The creation of this task force will provide the state with guidance and advice concerning the allocation of the $1.25 billion dollars that was distributed to Montana through the CARES Act.
Bullock said, “While we continue to prioritize the health and safety of Montanans, we know many residents are financially impacted by this crisis and need assistance now.”
In the upcoming weeks the task force will take into account every region’s unique COVID-19 needs and deploy funds responsibly.
The task force is made up of 26 Montanans that will represent areas and industries within Montana that have been hit by COVID-19.
