(Havre) – On Wednesday Montana State Governor Greg Gianforte visited the Hi-Line Motel in Havre to meet and talk with a group of high school students who had painted a mural on the revonavted property. Gov.Gianforte explains why he came to see the mural.
Governor Gianforte: “Well it was so cool to meet with these high school students and see their handy work I think Sarah’s done a great job you know working in a local government here at this Motel trying to spruce it up and make it nicer and the work that these students has done has certainly done that.”
The students, Rainee Komrosky, Paige Bertleson and Kylie Greenwood explain what inspired the design of the mural.
Paige Bertleson: “So when our class was approached with the task of designing the mural for the hotel we were kind of told that they wanted it to be kind of a retro Havre theme and so when putting the colors in the design together we wanted to incorporate actual pictures of Havre along with more of that retro feel into it and so that’s kind of how Rainee got the design that she got.”
