GREAT FALLS, Mont. (NMB) – Cascade County Sheriff Jesse Slaughter says the 8-year-old boy who was found dead on Monday morning has been identified as Lawrence Brasda.
An autopsy has been completed but the cause and manner of death are pending further investigation.
Officers and medical personnel were dispatched to the 600 block of 13th Street South at 9:32 AM Monday to render aid for the unresponsive child, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Patrol officers and detectives from the Great Falls Police Department and deputies from the Cascade County Sheriff’s Office are continuing the investigation.
Law enforcement says they encourage understanding, patience, and compassion for this child’s family and the emergency personnel involved.
