(Havre) The Great Northern Fair Board met on September 17th for their monthly meeting.
The board had discussions on ways to keep horses off the midway during the upcoming rodeo, something they described as a persistent problem during previous years.
Organization efforts were discussed for both the ag appreciation event on October 5th and the Trunk or Treat Halloween Celebration, both of which are free events for the public.
The Great Northern Fair Foundation was also officially invited to the October Fair Board meeting to be involved in discussion and planning.
The next meeting is planned for October 15th.
