The Great Northern Fair kicked off grandstand festivities on Wednesday night with the Junior Rodeo. Here are some notable final results:
Aylah Hipple won the sheep riding with a score of 89.
For Monkey On A Rope, Caiden Wyatt claimed first with a time of 32.26.
In Team Roping, Kyla Burchard and Alex Fourcolors were the only team to complete the event and clocked in at 10.58 seconds.
Buchard also won the girls 14-18 goat tying with a time of 9.900
For the 9-13 age range, Kenny Helgeson won the Breakaway Roping with a 1.9 clip.
Ages 14-18 group, Junior Branger was the only person to complete the Tie Down and went for a 25.21.
Ty Kittson won the 14-18 Breakaway Roping after posting a 2.630 time.
In the Girls 9-13 group, Cayden Chapman edged out Bryar Taylor in the Goat tying, 11.770 to 11.890.
However, Taylor finished with a time of 16.627 over Kaiya Sanchez’s 17.235 in the barrel racing girls 9-13. She also won the pole bending competition over Cassidy Leeds, 22.640 to 23.790.
And finally in the 14-18 pole bending competition, Jadynn Herrig edged out Burchard, 23.810 to 24.110.
The next grandstands event will take place Thursday and Friday night at 7pm where the NRA Rodeo presented by MSU-Northern will entertain the fair crowd.
