(Rocky Boy) – The Great Plains Veteran Service Center will be hosting it’s Great Plains 2nd Annual Veterans Stand Down event on July 27th form 10am to 2pm. Chauncey Parker the executive director of the Great Plains Veteran Service Center talks about what veterans can find at the event.
“This event, in conjunction with our Staff Sergeant Fox Suicide Prevention grant program, we are providing wraparound holistic services for veterans. This is everything from Mental Health Resources to homelessness employment. Really, a whole range of services that will be provided to them. We’ll have housing, employment education, medical, mental health, veterans’ services, food and clothing available for the veterans during this event.”
