The MSU-Northern Skylights basketball team went 3-0 in their three games this weekend.
Now they will start their conference schedule back up again this Thursday vs Rocky Mountain College and Saturday against Montana Western.
Head Coach Chris Mouat talked about the weekend coming up and what his girls will need to do.
“We’re going to have to defend and rebound because both teams can really score it. They’ve got extremely talented rosters and just a lot of experience. We’re going to have to grow up quickly and get ready for a whole different level of play. They’ve won a lot of games, they’ve both got returning All-Americans. Generating points against both of them is going to be hard. They both play a little bit differently. Western is going to full court press and play a lot of zone. Rocky is going to really get your face in man-to-man. They’re going to try to take people out of the game by locking them up one on one so they can’t get touches. We’re going to have to generate points and were going to have to get stops.” – Mouat
