(Havre) Bullhook Community Heath Center’s 3rd annual Guppy Derby is coming up, and New Media Broadcasters spoke with Board Chair of Bullhook Community Health Center Mike Rappold to find out what the proceeds for this event are going towards.
“This is our third annual guppy derby race, it’ll be taking place at the Havre Elk’s Lodge on February 3rd at 6pm. We’re raising money for our patient enhancement program. These programs, they’re multi-faceted towards the patients needs. The little things that aren’t covered typically by your insurance plan, grant funds or other local program funds. So what I’m talking about when I talk about our patient enhancement programs is our snacks for scripts, this money is collected and used for patients who cannot afford to pay for their prescriptions”
