GREAT FALLS, Mont. (NMB) – A Harlem man has been sentenced to 30 months in prison and two years of supervised release after admitting to beating a woman on the Fort Belknap Reservation.
Jeremy Leo Tincher, 39, was sentenced last week in U.S. District Court in Great Falls after pleading guilty to domestic abuse by a habitual offender in November.
Court documents allege that Tincher attacked and injured the victim in August 2019 as she was driving on the Fort Belknap Reservation. The victim drove directly to the police station seeking help and was treated for injuries.
Chief U.S. District Judge Brian M. Morris presided.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Jared Cobell prosecuted the case, which was investigated by the FBI and Fort Belknap Tribal Police.
