NOXON, Mont. (NMB) – A 37-year-old Haugan man was killed in a single-vehicle rollover crash on Monday morning near Noxon.
The Montana Highway Patrol reports that the crash occurred at 6:45 AM at mile post 17 of Montana 200, when the man was driving a Chevy Tahoe westbound on a wet road. The vehicle left the roadway to the left and rolled once before going through a tree and coming to rest on its wheels.
The driver was the only occupant of the vehicle. He was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Alcohol, drugs or excessive speed are all not suspected factors in the crash.
