HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The Havre Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a job fair this Tuesday, June 14th at the Holiday Village Mall from 9 AM-1 PM.
Chamber Executive Director Jessica Fagerbakke says everyone is invited.
“So any job seekers, come out to the mall. We’ve got a lot of great businesses that are hiring.”
Instead of having applicants provide resumes and specialized job applications, they are asking everyone to fill out generic job applications. These are available at the Chamber and at Havre Job Service.
They are also encouraging on-the-spot interviews that will allow employers to tailor questions to determine if applicants are a good fit for them and their business.
Tables will be separated with adequate distance to provide privacy for interviewing.
They are asking job seekers to dress to impress and arrive with multiple copies of a completed generic job application.
