(Havre) The Havre City Council met on Monday, December 2nd for their final planned meeting of 2024.
The Council confirmed in a new officer, Aubree Erickson, into the Havre Police Department.
Council members also confirmed two new board appointments, which were both reappointments of existing board members.
The council then approved Independence Bank’s pledged securities, and passed the November claims and warrants.
Mayor Doug Kaercher also made comment reminding the public that each person is responsible for shoveling their sidewalk of snow to ensure that it’s clear for the publics use. He also asked that those shoveling not throw the snow into the street, but instead into their lawns.
The next meeting is scheduled for January 6th, 2025.
