(Havre) The Havre City Council met on Monday, May 5th for their monthly meeting.
The Council:
Passed an ordinance which will define non-essential water use for the City of Havre.
Passed a motion to clarify language around a bond which pays for the lead line replacement project in town.
Approved the collective bargaining agreement from the shop and sewers worker union.
The HiLine Arts Council requested a road closures for the art alley celebrations and a new event called Final Fridays, for the months of May, June, July, and August. This was approved,
The Havre Water Project Drawdown 3 was approved for the total of over 1.3 million dollars.
There was also a presentation update on the Havre Water Project in Highland Park and the lead service line replacement project.
