(Havre) The Havre City Council met on Tuesday September 3rd after observing Labor Day on Monday of this week.
During this meeting there was a change to the liquor license fees in Havre to clear up some confusion around state agency liquor stores.
An ordinance was also passed to tax some specific properties within city limits after the owners have allegedly not properly managed weeds.
Officer Matthew Elander was confirmed as a full time police officer, and a 55 thousand dollar draw down was approved fro the Boys and Girls Club.
The council also voted to have a special meeting on September 16th after local restaurant PJ’s did not get their request for road closure in before the deadline for this years annual street dance, as this meeting would give them more time to do so.
