HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Both Havre Parks and Recreation and Havre Public Schools have announced that all playground equipment is now closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The parks will remain open but the city and school district ask that parents please keep kids off the equipment.
Havre Public Schools Superintendent Andy Carlson adds that people are still allowed to use open spaces at school parks.
“Our open spaces, we want you to go there and use them. I know a lot of people have been walking up at the track, out playing in our fields. We’d ask obviously that you observe social distancing and don’t get big groups together.”
The city and school district appreciate everyone’s cooperation during this difficult time.
