The Havre Elks Lodge is hosting their annual Shrimp Peel Saturday evening. At the shrimp peel multiple high school students were awarded with scholarship funds. Mike Rappold the Havre Elks Lodge Exalted ruler explains more.
“The Shrimp Peel a lot of times is attended by Elk’s members as well as the receiving scholarship winners within our community, and I’ll get up and we’ll do a presentation of these checks to the scholarship winners. We’ll get some pictures that we’ll post to our Facebook page at the Havre Elks Lodge, and we try to inspire these young upcoming leaders to not just get their education but to also be leaders within their communities, volunteer, give back.” -Mike Rappold
