HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – District 4 Human Resources Development Council says that they are urgently seeking donations due to the recent drastic increase in use.
With the increase in demand, the Food Bank has had to reduce the amount of food given to families in order to ensure they can help all who are eligible in the community. They say that increased usage has also caused the Food Bank to require more paid work time for employees, and this is putting a strain on an already small budget.
With that in mind, they are urgently seeking donations of shelf-stable goods, other food items, money, and volunteer time. To make a donation, visit the website link or drop off donations at the Food Bank (453 7th Avenue North) or HRDC (2229 5th Avenue).
Hours of operation for the food bank are:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 10 AM-1 PM.
