Billings, MT – A late Thursday morning race for Blue Pony boys and girls cross country, witnessed them competed at the Eastern Class A Classic in Billings
The Havre high boys cross country placed 8th as a team with an average time of 18:47.6. The top three finishers for Havre were Mason Gregoire at seventh place with a time of 16:59.3. Then Mason Dannen and Sean Negel crossed the finish line back-to-back at 33 and 34th place. Dannen ran a 18:37.5 and Negal ran a 18:38.2.
Finishing top three on the girls side of the race for the Blue Ponies were Marley Springer at 29th, harper Wendland at 37 and Gracie Shandorf at 38. Springer ran a 22:30.7, Wendland ran a 23:10.8 and Shandorf finished with a time of 23:18.8. As a team the Havre girls finished in seventh with an average time of 23:40.9.
The season will come to an end for Blue Pony Cross Country when they head to the state meet in Missoula next Saturday, October 25.
