(Havre) – The Havre Jaycees are currently hosting a haunted house at the Holiday Village Mall from Sunday October 22nd to Tuesday October 31st. Keeley Moore the 2023 Secretary of the Havre Jaycees talks about the haunted house.
“So, the haunted house is a community event that we use all proceeds to support coats for kids and we donate all food donations to the Havre Food Bank.”
She also explains why it nice to have it in a building this year.
“I mean it’s an indoor location which is really nice because our scarers get really cold when we’re outside. It’s been really nice to be able to utilize the mall and start setting up as early as we’ve been able to this year so were not here until 2 in the morning a week straight.
She also talks about giving coats to kids by using Money from the haunted house.
“So, we donate coats for kids every year and we try and get them out around Christmas time. We work hand in hand with some of the schools and with Salvation Army and other places that anyone who needs a coat. And a lot of times we do hats coats gloves whatever we can do to help.”
