HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – On Dec. 10, a man was arrested in Havre for allegedly assaulting his aunt, providing false identification, obstructing a peace officer and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
According to court documents, Adrian Roastingstick’s Aunt called the Havre Police Department to report she had been beaten up by her nephew. The victim told officers Roastingstick had knocked her down and thrown various objects at her, including glass and buckets.
Roastingstick had left the scene in a vehicle, but returned a few hours later. Officers were called back to the scene and when they opened Roastingstick’s car door, an alcoholic beverage tipped over and spilled.
Roastingstick was taken to the DUI processing room at the Hill County Detention Center, where he refused to provide a breath or blood sample. A blood sample ended up being served on Roastingstick after a warrant was granted.
Roastingstick has three prior DUI convictions, which would make the fourth offense a felony. The partner or family member assault charge would be his third subsequent offense, and is also a felony.
Roastingstick remains in the Hill County Detention Center on $50,000 bond. His arraignment is scheduled for Jan. 6 in Hill County District Court.
