Havre Public Schools Reports 2 New District-Associated COVID-19 Cases

HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – On Wednesday, Havre Public School District was notified that two individuals associated with the District had tested positive for COVID-19.

The positive tests were confirmed on Thursday morning.

The District’s staff and students were in contact with the individuals during the period of possible exposure. One of the individuals last had contact with others in the District at Highland Park on October 2nd. The other individual’s last contact with others in the District was on October 5th, but a specific location was not been provided.

Havre Public Schools Nurse Jeri Erickson and the Hill County Health Department are continuing their contact tracing efforts.

If any person associated with the District is at risk of exposure, they will be contacted by the Health Department to determine a safe and appropriate course of action.

Havre Public Schools has now reported 10 total District-associated COVID-19 cases.

They remain in a hybrid learning model and continue to follow CDC guidelines.
