Havre Schools Data Specialist Wins META Technologist of the Year

HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Havre Public Schools has announced that their data specialist, Kelly Veis, has won the Montana Educational Technologists Association Technologist of the Year award, which is a statewide award for her work and dedication to the school.

Superintendent of Havre Schools Andy Carlson says this is the first time someone from their district has won this award.

“She’s helped so many districts in our state. That’s one of the things about Kelly is, you know, she really believes that if she has something she can share with another school district and help them with their data system. She really tries to do that. She was really instrumental in helping us out with our civil rights data collection.”

The award was presented to Veis in Helena with her family present.
