The Havre swimming team sent both their boys and girls swimming teams to Great Falls over the weekend. For the Bob McKinnon Memorial Relay Meet at Great Falls High School, here are some notable outcomes:
The girls finished 9th out of 13 teams, while the boys placed 10th out of 12 schools.
Notable outcomes of relays include the boys 200-yard freestyle relay getting 4th with a time of 1:44:38
There was also a pre-relay in which the Havre girls were 5th out of 9 teams with a score of 124, while the boys finished 7th out of 8 teams with a score of 54.
For the girls, Elizabeth Carroll competed in the 100-yard butterfly and swam a 1:17:01. She also swam a 1:29:30 100-yard breaststroke. Britton Elliot finished 59.01 in the 100-yard freestyle.
For the boys, Micah Cammon competed in the 100-yard breastroke and swam it in 1:17:23.
There is an extended break for Montana high school swimming, but the Blue Ponies should be excited because they get to host their next two meets: Jan. 6 for Havre’s senior meet and Jan. 13 for the East ‘A’ Meet.
