Havre tennis hosted three teams this past weekend for a two-day meet, which began on Friday and was split between the Havre High tennis courts and MSU-N’s tennis facility. In a dual against Cut Bank, the boys’ lost, (4-3), while the girls’ won, (6-1).
Max Spangler and Carter Chagnon continued their pace of play, winning their match, (8-1). Ishaan Vikas and Malachi Morris were the only other doubles team to win on the boys’ side, claiming an (8-5) victory. Aiden Moomey also won by forfeit in singles.
For the girls’ in singles, Tyley Hemmer, Loise Evangelista, and Kylee McNew won by a combined score of (22-2). The doubles’ pairings swept the competition as Heather Herring and Alera Chandler took care of business, (8-0), while Mackenzie Hanson and Jaidyn Cole were victorious, (8-1). Finally, Kali Schubert and Paloma Padilla had an (8-3) win.
