(Helena) A Helena man who admitted to buying fentanyl on the dark web using crypto currency and distributing some it was sentenced to 15 months in prison.
30 year old Jarek William Hahn pled guilty in December 2023 to possession with intent to distribute fentanyl.
Court documents say that Hahn obtained the drug in the mail by arranging it’s purchase online using the dark web, which is the slang term for internets unindexed websites which require special internet browsers to access. The government says he made his purchases using cryptocurrency.
