(Helena) A Helena man who admitted to possessing homemade bombs and a silencer after being suspected of planning to attack a Helena Public Schools building was sentenced to seven and a half years in prison to be followed by three years of supervised release according to US Attorney Jesse Laslovich.
The defendant, 25 year old Logan Sea Pallister, pled guilty in January to possession of unregistered destructive devices and possession of an unregistered silencer.
The government alleged in court documents that Helena Police was told by a juvenile girl that Pallister possessed multiple bombs and firearms and had discussed a desire to commit quote “a Columbine style attack” on a local high school, before threatening to kill the girl if she told anyone.
Chief US Judge Brian M Morris presided.
