Havre, MT – After hosting Dawson on Saturday, Blue Pony boys and girls basketball will square off at home against Fergus Thursday night before heading to Sidney on Friday.
Head coach the Blue Pony girls basketball Tommy Brown told New Media Broadcasters what his team needs to do to claim two more victories.
“Both are scrapy teams. They are big conference games, so they’re going to prepared with a game plan to try and beat us so we just got to be ready to play two hardnosed teams again.” Brown said
The Blue Pony girls are 10-1 on the season.
For the boys they are 3-7 on the year and head coach of the Blue Ponies WaLynn Burgess knows his team is staring down a difficult weekend.
“We’re playing a really good Fergus team. They are undefeated in conference and having them here playing them at home is going to be good for us. Then you turn around, you play on Friday against a Sidney team whose record doesn’t show it but they compete.” Burgess said.
Thursday nights games will tip off at 6 and 7p.m. following Havre wrestling against East Helena. and Friday the Blue Ponies will tip off at 4 and 5:30P.m. and you can listen to them on KOJM.
