Havre, MT – Havre High Blue Ponies girls’ basketball had four players reach double figure scoring while routing East Helena on the road Saturday night 68-28.
Havre High head coach Tommy Brown said that despite the 40-point win his team needs to improve upon their execution.
“How it played it out was kind of how we expected it to. We didn’t necessarily execute the best offensively or defensively, but our Kids played really hard and really unselfish. Our effort and our willing to play together was kind of the recipe to come out with a big win.”
Amya Jarvis led the way with 19 points, Ariana Gary and Katie Tilleman put up 12 points each Ella Harbor chipped in 10.
The Blue Ponies are back in action Friday and Saturday in Billings against Lockwood and Laurel.
