HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The Hill County 4-H program will be hosting their first ever Valentine’s Day Vendor and Craft Gala this February.
The gala will take place at the 4-H Chuckwagon on Saturday, February 8 from 10 AM to 4 PM, and Sunday, February 9 from 12 PM to 4 PM.
MSU-Extension Agent Jasmine Carbajal says this will serve as a fundraiser for the local 4-H program.
“Our 4-H Foundation helps our members with scholarships and grants and related expenses to projects. It’s really just a fun new idea that some of our leaders came up with. We wanted to try it for Valentine’s Day this year for our community.”
Carbajal adds that this event will provide an opportunity for those looking for last-minute Valentine’s Day gifts.
“The main thing is we wanted to do something for people that are still looking for Valentine’s Day gifts. This is the weekend before Valentine’s Day, we’ll have a variety of vendors. So people can pick some of those gifts to give.”
Public entry fee is $1 or a non-perishable food item. Chili and rolls will be served for a free-will donation.
Vendors interested in having a table at the event can contact the Extension office at 400-2333.
