(NMB) Hill County 4H/FFA wrapped up their 2026 Great Northern Fair with the livestock sale this past Saturday afternoon in the Bigger Better Barn.
The sale featured 32 beef, 28 swine, 4 sheep and 6 goats. The total dollar amount for the sale was three-hundred-eighty-eight thousand one-hundred fifty dollars.
Average prices were: five dollars and ninety nine cents per pound for beef, swine brought an average of thirteen dollars and fifty-seven cents, the average price for sheep was nineteen dollars and eighty-eight cents per pound and goats brought twenty eight dollars and fifty-eight cents per pound.
The money goes back to the 4H/FFA kids thayt raised the animals.
