Hill County Community Foundation Announces 2018 Grant Recipients

HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The Hill County Community Foundation is pleased to announce twelve grant recipients for the 2018 grant cycle. A press release says that this year’s grant cycle was very competitive with the committee having received sixteen applications for funding.

This year’s grantees include the Artitudes Art Gallery, the Havre Main Street Group, HRDC and the Community Garden, Jolly Janes of Gildford, the Havre/Hill County Historic Preservation Commission, Recycle Hi-Line, Montana Actors Theatre, Brother Van’s SOS Program, the Havre Softball Association. MSU-Northern Multicultural Center, Shakespeare in the Park, and the Rudyard Historical Society and Depot Museum.

Each grantee was awarded for their respective projects in one of three HCCF focus areas, which are basic human needs, arts and culture, and community beautification.

HCCF awarded a combined $7,200 to projects this year.
