HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The Hill County Park Board convened for their regular monthly meeting on Monday. Park Superintendent Chad Edgar reported that a section of the roofing had blown off the roof of the lodge. It has been temporality repaired by an industrial tarp.
Edgar also announced they would be looking for a new Administrative Assistant as the newly hired Heather Winter has resigned.
Also at the meeting the park board approved a motion for a new trail to be created at the park It would branch off the Bear Paw Nature Trail it would be approximately 1.2 miles long. The new trail could be completed as early as this summer, or next summer. Havre Trails is expected to cover all expenses.
The board also discussed the process behind allocating grazing allotments. The meeting abruptly adjourned without any action taken on the matter.
