HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The Hill County Park Board met for their regularly scheduled meeting Monday night at the Hill County Court House.
Items on the agenda included a discussion on beaver management options, the park website, Friends of Beaver Creek Park license plates and a kiosk at Camp Kiwanis.
Right now, the problem with beaver management lies in the population and the board is currently awaiting further information before making a decision on installing new equipment or focusing on trapping.
As for the park website, the board said that should be up and running by the end of March.
For Friends of Beaver Creek Park, they need 203 more vehicles to choose their license plates before the July deadline or they face the plate design being eliminated.
Lastly, the design of a three-piece kiosk for Camp Kiwanis was approved by the financing and planning committee.
