HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The Hill County Health Department reported 10 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday and had nine people meet the recovery criteria.
The two age ranges with the most new cases were people in their 40’s (2 males, 1 female) and 60’s (1 male, 2 females).
Eight of the 10 new cases were found through contact tracing, while two have unknown exposures.
Hill County has now reported 897 total COVID-19 cases. 295 are active, including 22 hospitalizations. 579 have recovered and 23 have died.
Phillips County
On Sunday, the Phillips County Health Department reported the first COVID-19 related death of a county resident
As of Sunday, Phillips County has reported 193 total COVID-19 cases. 37 are active, including two hospitalizations.
Liberty County
On Sunday, Liberty County reported two new COVID-19 cases that were confirmed late on Saturday.
Both cases were found through contact tracing, and close contacts of the new cases have been notified.
Liberty County has now reported 37 total COVID-19 cases. Nine are active, and their Health Department says there is, “community-acquired COVID present in Liberty County.
Blaine County
Blaine County reported nine new cases of COVID-19 and had four cases meet the recovery criteria on Sunday.
Blaine County has now reported 362 total COVID-19 cases. 125 are active, including 15 hospitalizations. 229 have recovered and eight have died.
Chouteau County
Chouteau County reported two new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, bringing their current active case total up to 49.
In a Facebook post, their Health Department pleaded with people to stay home if they are ill and/or awaiting testing results, saying the failure of the public to do so is a factor in the spike in cases in the area.
