Hill County Reports Record 42 New COVID-19 Cases, 1 Death

HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Hill County reported a record 42 new COVID-19 cases and one new COVID-19 related death on Monday.

The previous single-day case record was 36, set on Saturday.

Of the 42 cases, 25 were found through contact tracing and 17 have unknown exposures.

The new cases range in age from two females under the age of 10 to a female in her 70’s. The age range with the most new cases was people in their 30’s, with nine (3 males, 6 females).

Hill County has now reported 589 total COVID-19 cases. 268 are active, including eight hospitalizations. 307 have recovered and 14 have died.

The Rocky Boy Health Center Reported 29 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday.

Rocky Boy has reported 275 total COVID-19 cases. 144 are active, 134 of which reside on the Reservation. Three are currently hospitalized.

Rocky Boy’s numbers are included in the case count for the county the person resides (either Hill or Chouteau).

Chouteau County did not provide a COVID-19 update on Monday. As of Sunday, they had 13 active cases of the virus.
