(Havre) – The Havre Public Schools Board of Trustees met for a special board meeting on Thursday April 27th. Besides a discussion about the 2023-24 school calendar the trustees approved a few other items.
New personnel were hired by the district including new teachers who will start their duties when the 2023-24 school year begins this fall.
Back on April 11th, the Havre Public Schools Education Foundation presented a Memorandum of Understanding to the Board of Trustees to update and replace the MOU that had been in place since the foundation was created in the year 2000. The board unanimously passed this updated MOU with the Public Schools Foundation.
For many years boys from Chinook High School have been able to swim with the Havre High School boys team as a Co-Op. The Board of Trustees was asked, Thursday night to approve this arrangement for another three years which they passed unanimously.
The next meeting of the Havre Public Schools Board of Trustees will be on Tuesday May 9th, 6pm at the Havre Middle School Auditorium.
