Jack Gladstone on How he Became Montana’s Troubadour

(Havre) – Today October 18th Montana’s Troubadour Jack Gladstone will be holding a show at the Montana Actors Theater stage at 8 pm. Jack Gladstone talks about how he became Montana’s Troubadour.

“Well to look back on it it is Brian Schweitzer he had four of my Cd’s and he would play them as he was Traveling around the state of Montana. First of all, he was campaigning for the office of governor and one song in particular named ‘Sometimes Eagles have Trouble on the Ground’ and it was this song that he would accent whenever he was talking about our veterans in Montana hanging on sometimes by a thread. So, it was I guess my contribution vicariously to this veteran’s awareness and he asked if it were alright if when you are on a call waiting in the state of Montanan, that my songs would be among the songs that people listen to.”
