LEWISTOWN, Mont. (NMB) – The Lewistown Police Department says a 24-year-old man has been arrested after he allegedly fatally shot a 46-year-old man at a residence on Wednesday afternoon.
The suspect, who police are not identifying at this time, is facing numerous charges, including Deliberate Homicide.
Police say they were notified of the incident at the 1200 block of 6th Avenue North at about 5:26 PM. Upon arrival, the suspect had fled the scene on foot and 46-year-old Tyler Green of Lewistown was found lying on the ground with life-threatening injuries. Green was pronounced deceased after being transported to a local medical center
The suspect was identified by a probation officer on Main Street near 6th Avenue North and was detained without incident.
