Havre, MT – In April Montana State University-Northern football and head coach Jerome Souers announced the 2026 running back class. This years recruiting class features the addition of a transfer and two freshmen.
Brothers Laighton and Kori Scott come to the Lights from California. Laighton, at 6’2″, 215 lbs., is a fast and physical back who transfers to the Lights after one year at El Camino Community College.
Kori Scott is a 5’10”, 185 lb. standout running back who scored 12 touchdowns and rushed for 1,274 yards in his senior season at Woodrow Wilson High School.
Glasgow, Montana’s Connor Hudyma (6’0″, 205 lbs.) committed to northern as an H-back for his freshman season under the Lights new offensive coordinator in 2026.
The Lights have made changes this year and are looking to improve upon a one-win season in 2025.
